About Us

Who is Alana Rodrigues?

Kate Alana Rodrigues was born on a wintry night in 1988. She is a resident of Perth, Western Australia and a lover of caramel sundaes, cats and the rain. She is one part Scottish, one part Irish and two parts Goan. Kate requires a good book and a mug of tea on Sundays. She is a lawyer, sister, amateur chef, full-time joker and, most importantly, is utterly terrified of frogs. Kate created Alana Rodrigues so that you would have vibrant, resilient umbrellas to see you through the wintry months and the tropical monsoons.

All creatures great and small

Alana Rodrigues is a proud supporter of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and we donate $1 from every sale to the RSPCA.

The RSPCA is an independent, non-government community-based charity providing animal care and protection services. The RSPCA’s mission is to prevent cruelty to animals by actively promoting their care and protection. To achieve this, the RSPCA works to enforce animal cruelty laws and prompt new legislation where required. The RSPCA also operates animal care and adoption facilities, and seeks to raise community awareness regarding the humane treatment of animals. In addition, the RSPCA works with government and industry to establish standards for animal care.

There is an option to donate to the RSPCA at checkout. We encourage you to give generously. AR x
